Tor House is open for full indoor and outdoor tours on Saturdays only. The hour-long tours begin at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12p.m. and 1 p.m., in the docent office.
Tor House grounds are closed to the public Sunday through Friday, but photography from the street is permitted.

Tours are limited to a maximum of six people.

Tours are $25 for adults, $10 for full-time students, and free for Tor House Members.

Yes, tours are by reservation only and typically available on Saturdays.
Call the Tor House office (831) 624-1813 to inquire about special group tours during the week. Please contact us at least 30 days in advance.

You can request a private tour for up to six people. Timing is subject to docent availability. We need at least two weeks advance notice to ensure availability. The cost of a private tour is $150 for four people, plus $40 per person for each additional guest, up to a total of six. Please call the Tor House office at 831-624-1813 to request a private tour.

Tor House does not have a parking lot, but parking is usually available nearby in the neighborhood. Please do not block our neighbors' driveways or mailboxes.

Photography is not allowed during tours. You may take a few selfies when the tour is over.
Photography is allowed inside Tor House and Hawk Tower only during the Foundation's Garden Party, held annually on the first Sunday in May.

To speak with a docent on the day of your tour, call (831) 624-1813. Please note that docents are in and out of the office and may not be available to take your call. You are most likely to reach someone from half past the hour to the top of the hour. Voicemails are not answered until Monday.

Docents and visitors are required to perform a self-screening wellness check to ensure they are healthy and symptom-free. If you or anyone in your group is experiencing symptoms, we will work directly with you to cancel or reschedule your tour.
At this time, wearing medical masks is optional indoors.
